This mobile app is an alternative way of filing consumer related complaints in the portal https://consumerhelpline.gov.in. The website was launched by the Department of Consumer Affairs for awareness, advice and grievance redressal and to act as a central registry for filing consumer complaints. As per the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, consumers can approach consumer forums at district, state and national levels for dispute resolution. Although all efforts will be made to address the complaints made on the portal, if the complaint is not redressed to full satisfaction, a consumer has the option to approach the appropriate consumer forums.


An aggrieved consumer can register online either by calling the toll free number 1800-11-4000 or 14404 to talk to an agent on the portal or through the mobile app, in which case a user to lodge the consumer is needed. Name and password are received. complaint.

Step 1. For lifetime registration, the consumer has to click on the signup giving the required details and verify it through his email. User ID and password are created.

Step 2. Using this user ID and password, the customer enters the portal and fills in the required details of the complaint attaching the required documents (if available).
