Google Expedition is an unconventional learning and learning tool that lets you go on VR trips
or explore AR objects. Explore historical sites, go to the atomic level, rise above with shark
s, even see outdoor spaces!
In the classroom or with groups, the Google campaign allows a teacher to act as a 'guide',
leading a group size of classroom explorers through a VR tour or showing them an AR
object. Guides can use a set of tools to indicate interesting things along the way.
Users who are not in the group can also search automatically in VR or AR.
Features:
• Explore the world of places and things on your own with your phone, tablet or VR device.
• Guide class-size groups of users locally connected to your phone or tablet.
• Join a guide in immersive AR or VR and let them walk you through one of our hundreds
of VR or AR expeditions. VR mode can be used with Google Cardboard or Daydream Viewer.
• Connect devices on the same Wi-Fi network - If the guide has downloaded some campaigns,
no internet connectivity is required to run the campaign.
• Choose from a growing list of over 800 campaigns - each with a VR imagery or a curated
set of AR objects, plus integrated descriptions, talking points, and questions.
